Misinformation Research Guide

Intent of this Guide:

Over the last decade, the prevalence of misinformation and the rise of “fake news” has become a cultural phenomenon. As library professionals, guiding patrons through information literacy and fact-checking is a vital part of our work. This subject guide will focus on misinformation and fact-checking. I have designed this guide to have both practical tools for helping patrons fact-check on their own and resources to help patrons understand how misinformation spreads and why it is important to combat. This guide is primarily geared towards adult public library patrons.
